"Otis consistently runs a clean course, but he often would not make Course Time. Not anymore! Advice from an experienced CATS member started us on a regimen of short speed sprints and recall exercises. This August, in Stowe, VT, we put our new training to the test. At the start line, I said to Otis, 'Reeaadyy' in a low throaty tone, and then 'GO!'. We both sped over all the obstacles and past the finish line faster than we had ever done before. Otis put his heart in it, ran at full speed, and had three qualifying clean runs that day. I'm so proud of him and what our speed training has accomplished." — Jill
