GEMMA
Pre-Registration
CATS requires vendors to be pre-registered so that the event planners can anticipate space and access issues. The vendor contact is listed in the trial premium or you may contact the Trial Chairperson.
Workers Raffle
The only “fee” associated with vending at CATS events is that we ask for the vendors to support the worker raffle by contributing a gift(s) with a value of $25 for each day of the event. Please place a business card or tag identifying your business on the gift. A trial cannot happen without our great volunteers, and handlers are given raffle tickets as a reward for working the classes at the trial.
Food Vendors
CATS arranges for one food (human) vendor at trials that will provide trial worker lunches. In order to make this financially attractive to the vendor, CATS does not permit any other food and or drink vendors to be on the site. If you would like to be the food vendor at a future trial, contact the Trial Chairperson.
Exclusive Access
CATS does not offer “exclusive” access to any vendor for services or merchandise. Any vendor is welcome.
For Trials at Wheelock Park
Vendors are welcomed at CATS trials at Wheelock Park. There is a designated area for vendors and club members will help vendors with access and information on the setup area. Setup is available after 2pm on the Friday before the trial. Electricity is not available for vendors and parking is not permitted on the agility field. Club members will provide access to vendors for loading/unloading and then vehicles must be removed from the field. Trailers may be left on the field if used for merchandising. Camping is not allowed on the field. Overnight security is not provided and all merchandise and equipment left on the field is the responsibility of the owner. CATS will reserve space for the food vendor and may designate an area for other vendors that require a large set-up area such as for equipment.
For Trials at Monadnock Humane Society
The vendor situation at MHS is quite different than at Wheelock Park. MHS operates a store on-site that carries pet food, treats, training supplies and pet gifts. Vendors at CATS trials held on MHS grounds cannot compete with the store by offering similar merchandise. Electricity is not available for vendors. Overnight security is not provided and all merchandise and equipment left on the field is the responsibility of the owner.
